This campground is a hidden jewel. It is well developed with paved parking pads, potable water throughout the campground, and mature trees. The campground itself is set below the dam and is protected from wind and MT storms that occasionally roll through. The camp spots are well spaced so you have breathing room from your neighbors. Tons of fishing access and a wonderful walking path. The main event here is fishing, boating and swimming, but the campground has a nice playground for kids. Free, clean showers by the camp host and a dump station just outside the campground. The town of Fort Peck is neat little community with amenities for entertainment, lots of history, lodging, guiding, and eating. Glasgow, a bigger town, is an easy 15 mile drive if you need something Fort Peck can't provide. I can't wait to return.

We had a beautiful camping site. Even though it was a back-in site, it was wide and deep and easy to park. I especially liked the “green screen” of trees and bushes they had created that defined the picnic table area.

Very well maintained campground and friendly staff. Sites are adequately spaced with plenty of shade. There is a nice paved bike path around and through the property to enjoy the natural surroundings. We travel West every year and always stop here for an overnight.
