All types of water activities are available there. Fishing and boating especially. Local restaurants are good.
Hosts at park were friendly.

Usually very nice campgrounds but this time the restrooms were dirty and not cleaned for 3 days.

Nice campsites with big cottonwoods that provide a lot of shade. Campsites are spaced a little ways from each other so you have some room between you and your neighbor. Lots of activities in the area; interpretive center, theater, lake, river, ponds to fish in.

It was a nice campground that was very peaceful. I really appreciated that when we made it late to the campground our pass and map where at the check-in booth. Also later I found that a staff had actually called and left a voicemail giving us directions.

Downstream was great as every year. But this year, The vault toilets were cleaned once in the eight days we were there. Had to take toilet paper as it was out in four days. Showers could’ve been cleaned out as well. Lots of hair in the drains. This is the reason for the 3 star rating. But other then that I would say our stay was a 4 - 5 star stay.

Overall very nice campground. Sites are close together so don't expect much privacy. The toilets were clean, the showers were not. Lovely scenery and you get to fall asleep to a babbling brook.

The grill in the shelter building needs to be fixed. Only half of the grill worked and that half was intermittent. Made it difficult to cook for a large group of people. I did report the problem to the cleaning staff, so hopefully they forwarded it on.

Visit campground every year for multi family fishing trip. It was nice having everything so green this year and we enjoyed our camping trip!

This is a nice level campground, electric included. Water is available throughout the campground so you can use your hose to fill your tank. A dump station is located just outside the park so you can dump when you leave. I also have a senior pass, so I got in for half price. A word of caution, this park fills up consistently, so plan ahead and reserve your site ahead. We took a brief automobile tour of the dam and lake beyond. I'd definitely do this park again if I were in the area.

Love the trees, play grounds for the grandkids, fishing ponds, and the Interpretive Center close by. We enjoyed swimming at the dredges in the heat of the day. Very kid friendly, as well as adult friendly campsite.
