What Guests Are Saying
Eagle Creek Campground offers a beautiful location with stunning views and abundant wildlife, including elk frequently visiting the area. It is conveniently situated close to the Gardiner entrance of Yellowstone National Park, making it an ideal starting point for exploration. However, the campground has basic facilities, no water or garbage service, and the access road is rough and steep, which may pose challenges for some visitors.

The good: campground is quiet and peaceful with a flowing stream and abundant wildlife.
The bad: the road leading up to the campground is TERRIBLE; washboard the entire way. The site we stayed was insanely unlevel; even using three layers of leveling blocks on one side didn’t completely level out the trailer. There is no water here, make sure to bring your own. There is no trash service here, be prepared to pack it out.
I would not stay here again solely because of the road.

Quiet place to camp with the creek right behind the site. Lots of beaver activity!

The road was washboard, rough, and long enough that I would not use this as a Basecamp. Our site was not level. River area overgrown where our site was. The vault toilet was clean.

The campsite was very tidy and the staff was very friendly. The view was stunning to wake up and relax in the mountains. We enjoyed our stay.

Bathroom was the grossest one out of 6 other campsites this trip. Views and grass was nice. Kids liked the creek. Our firepit the grate was broken off. It does get windy up there.

Beautiful campsite and has an amazing view of Yellowstone! One of our favorite campgrounds during our trip through Wyoming! If you want to go to Yellowstone, stay here, don't stay inside the park!

The campground and campsites were fine for a primitive campground and the vault toilet was fine. HOWEVER, the long (over a mile) washboard road getting to it was so brutal, I don't believe we would return. You couldn't go slow enough and yet it rattled and shook so violently I feared damage to the van. Hopefully it can be improved.

Amazing location! Enough place, no noise but the one of the river. Restrooms were clean.
