What Guests Are Saying

Eagle Creek Campground offers a beautiful location with stunning views and abundant wildlife, including elk frequently visiting the area. It is conveniently situated close to the Gardiner entrance of Yellowstone National Park, making it an ideal starting point for exploration. However, the campground has basic facilities, no water or garbage service, and the access road is rough and steep, which may pose challenges for some visitors.

Awesome spot. This campsite only has neighbors on one side. It backs up to a nice little creek too. Plenty of room to park at your campsite, and the restrooms were close as well. There is a trail very close to the campground that was wonderful to explore. The sunsets were gorgeous!

The road into the camp needs serious attention. The camp itself is quite nice, but the washboard road was difficult.

Spent a little over a week there. Road up is badly washboarded but passable by any vehicle -- be careful to go slow with a trailer. Campground has no water or trash service. We got water from the park just outside the Rosevelt gate and trucked it up to the trailer. No AT&T service, Verizon worked great. Host was friendly and helpful.

Campground had a great view and is about 10 minutes outside of Gardiner. Would definitely stay there again, we'd just come better prepared knowing everything above.

We worried about flooding at our site (5), as we had read the reviews left previously about sites 5 and 6. Maybe it was due to the time of year, however we had NO problems with wetness or flooding and loved the sound of the creek as we slept. The spot for the tent was pretty uneven so we had to get a bit creative, but overall we had a great time!

Great views, convenient location, nice layout. If you're tent camping be sure to bring cord and extra stakes to guy out your tent because it can get super windy! Bear precautions are essential here and there are no facilities for dumping gray water, so consider that too.

Decent campground with some sites near a small stream, but as noted in the description not all sites have a level area. Not sure where the dumpsters were supposed to be, never saw any. Heavily washboarded road between Gardiner and campground, but otherwise good access to Yellowstone NP.

I stayed here for 2 nights during my Yellowstone trip. It contained everything we needed: a picnic table, ample space to set camp, bathrooms nearby, and a source of water. Gardiner is a 2-minute drive away. I would stay here again!
