I was mainly disappointed because of all the trash on the campsite I rented which was Lot 5 I'm not sure if it was from fireworks or some kind of confetti but it was all over the place I did not have the time or resources to clean it up before I set up camp or when I leave I'm a single mom with two kids and I come out there once a year sometimes twice and it was just disappointing to see how trashed it was I've been coming out here for the past three years and never had this problem before I remember that nice woman who used to be the camp resource person but she wasn't there this time unfortunately

Campsites are really close together. Extra large group next to us kept coming and going. Their conversations made our children uncomfortable but there was no place to not hear them. Campground was pretty messy.

We scheduled our visit online. When we arrived, the campsite was marked as reserved under another's name. We checked with the host and he said that group had cancelled. That evenining, another family showed up and said they had the campsite reserved. So there were three families with reservations for the same campsite. This was a cluster and needs to be addressed. Thank you.

Great location. Awesome waterfront campground. Bathrooms were clean our entire stay! Spot 12 says it has shade but it's very little, with canopy I'm sure it would be just fine for those needing a retreat from the sun.

Vault toilets (kinda smell during the warmer months). Campgrounds were very close together and the neighbors were extremely loud, playing music until 1:30 in the morning and loud and drunkenly complaining about abusive relationships... Other than that the campgrounds were awesome!

Great location if you enjoy tent camping or your rv is on the small side. Lots of room between camp sights. Easy walk down to the water. Lovely rock beach with easy entrance for kiddos. Very, very busy on the weekend. The volunteer camp host was available and helpful.
Appears to be a favorite day use location for locals.
The only downside was the ashes from the campfire had been distributed around the campsite making for quite a mess with the toddlers.
If you prefer a “less sterile” camping experience, you will enjoy this location!

We had no contact or evidence of a campsite host. The sites are extremely small and should not be booked to anything except for micro trailers or tents. We have a Casita so we fit everywhere, but there was a huge trailer next to us pulled by an equally huge truck that was halfway parked into our space. The people had multiple dogs that barked every time we moved (even when we were in our trailer)
We were on the road and had no other choice, unless we wanted to go to Walmart.
It would have been nice to have at least seen someone checking on the sites while we were there.
Also our site was littered with cigarette butts and a collection of small pieces of garbage. I picked it all up.
It’s a nice campground and is in a nice spot at a beautiful lake.
The bathrooms were clean and well stocked.
