We were located in one of the last camp site. Not much traffic. Quiet, kinda steep decline to get to beach/water. No algae.

While the camping was fine, the camp host (camping in Montana for free, from Texas) was an absolute nightmare! We reserved our group spot in February and we’re then told that we could not have the number of sleeping units that we initially made the reservations for, 6 months previously. The group spot holds 50 people and we were told we could only have 5 sleeping units. When we questioned this he told us that he did not care what the website said when we reserved, that there was absolutely not going to be more than 5 sleeping units allowed. Please someone explain to me how a spot that is for use by 50 Individuals can only have 5 sleeping units. Meanwhile there was way more than 50 people and over 16 sleeping units in another group use spot. Th camp host was absolutely rude and an out of stater telling people who actually pay taxes in this state how to enjoy our great out doors. Will never camp here again, or recommend to anyone for that matter. Maybe he should pay more attention to the cars speeding through the area, than families trying to spend time together in the great Montana outdoors.
