We loved Schnaus Cabin so much! The view is spectacular and the cabin was warm a cozy and very roomy. We brought everything for cooking meals but the cabin was fully stocked with utensils and cookware. The woods surrounding the cabin were just magical. It was a great weekend getaway for us.

Rented this in Mar. Lots of snow around which was good because we were there to do cross country skiing in Polebridge area. The views from the cabin were absolutely amazing. It also had just about everything you'd need for cooking. They also provided trashbags and trashcan. You just have to pack it all out when you leave.
We'd definitely rent again. Great experience.

My family has rented this cabin and others for many years. I would sat starting in the 80's. Several of us were Glacier Park employees. We enjoy the solitude, beauty and family time. Games, cooking, campfires, hiking and so much more. Thank you for getting a new stove and oven at Schnaus. The Wertz cabin stove is awesome. However, the oven didn't work. Ford cabin was not as clean as it should be. But, we enjoy all. Thank you!

From Columbia Falls, travel north on Nucleus Avenue and turn east on Railroad Street at the stop sign. This becomes North Fork Road as it travels over the railroad overpass. Continue north on this gravel road for 42 miles to the intersection with Forest Road 10372 and look for the sign for Schnaus Cabin. Go east for less than a half-mile and turn north at the sign for Schnaus Cabin. The majority of the road from Columbia Falls to Scnaus Cabin is gravel, so be prepared for dust during your drive and at the cabin.
