What Guests Are Saying
Emery Bay Campground offers stunning access to Hungry Horse Reservoir and is a serene alternative to the crowded campgrounds in Glacier National Park, just 20 minutes away. The campground is well-maintained with spacious, beautiful sites and friendly hosts who provide excellent service. While the access road is rough and some sites experience day-use traffic, campers appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and the opportunity for activities like paddle boarding and swimming in the lake.

We originally planned on camping at Fish Creek Campground again in GNP after we got evacuated because of the fires the year before. However, we were too late to get reservations (they were full 6 months before out trip) and some friends recommended Emery Bay Campground instead. Although it's 15 miles, with about 5 miles of maintained gravel road, from the west entrance of GNP, it was way better then Fish Creek Campground but still an easy drive to the park. It was cheaper, had more space between campsites, Less restrictions, and it was prettier. We camped in our 26' Toy Hauler RV. (Our trip video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0K2yYMCjsao).

I want to say it was a horrible experience just so no one finds out how great of a gem this place is! The fact that it’s so close to Glacier NP and Flathead Lake while having access to a beautiful lake surrounded by lush forests and mountains is amazing. I’ll 100% be back next time I’m in the area!

We had our wedding reception at Emery Bay. It was completely magical. We were able to set up a tent and a dance floor at the group sites. The host was incredible and so accommodating. All of our guests spent the night and we had an amazing time. There was nothing about this campsite that wasn't perfection!
