The camper near mine with a generator allowed to run until 10 PM ruined my evening. Wonder who the idiot is that sets rules allowing loud noises in the campground.

Really cool spot! Our site was walking distance to a creek that runs by, which was peaceful to fall asleep to. There were some nearby hikes that went through a variety of landscapes (rocky terrain, forest, prairies). The campground hosts were super friendly, proactively helpful, and communicative about nearby wildlife sightings. Plus they had a very cute campground dog, Sarge :)

The camp hosts, John and Rhonda, were exceptional! Very nice people doing a great job! Let us know about the wildlife around the campground when we first got there and asked several times if there was anything we needed. I hope to see them again and hope they are camp hosts at Basin, or anywhere, for many more years. :-)

We stayed at site 18 it was close to the restrooms which were well maintained. The camp hosts were amazing even giving us suggestions for trails and things to do near by.

Rhonda and John and their dog Sarge are excellent camp hosts. They are very knowledgeable and helpful and they keep the place very clean. It would be nice if something could be done about the well. The water is very rusty. Also, every site should have a Bear box.

Love this campground. Site on the creek, a bull moose in the morning, browsing on willows. Quiet and clean with attentive campground hosts.

Was a beautiful campground. Our site was quite and felt secluded against the forest and river below.
