What Guests Are Saying
Cascade campground offers a spacious, quiet, and clean environment, with helpful camp hosts and plenty of trees providing privacy between sites. While the gravel road can be rough, the overall experience is enhanced by beautiful natural surroundings and close proximity to hiking opportunities. Some minor issues with site descriptions and water access were noted, but visitors express a strong desire to return.

Nice, big, sites with distance from neighbors. Great camp host! Facilities were clean. This didn't impact our enjoyment but the area did see a wildfire some years ago so some hikes are not currently as lush as before but still, an awesome area.

The male camp host was friendly, yet had a bad experience with a dog. Thus, warned me that his boss would drive by periodically making sure all dogs were on leash. To be honest... my dog was on leash 95% of the time. She is very well trained off leash, but wanted to abide by the rules. I was yelled at and harassed by the lady who was the boss of the camp host. She would drive by and yell to make sure my dog was always on leash. She would do this to other campers as well. Did not feel comfortable or inviting. Felt targeted having a dog with me. As a single female, having a dog made me feel safe. I will not ever go back, nor recommend to anyone. Horrible experience and I left a day early.

We enjoyed our stay at Cascade. Very beautiful even with the fire damage across the mountain.
