I wish I was notified that there was a stage 2 fire restriction still in place for NF. The county had already lifted the restriction! So I could not have a camp fire. What’s camping without a camp fire? We decide to leave shortly after arriving and went to the State campgrounds where we were allowed to have a campfire. My complained is Recreation.gov should have notified about the restrictions and offered a refund.

The campground host were friendly and welcoming. They answered all our questions and provided additional information about the surrounding area. They work very hard in keeping the campground in pristine condition. We even saw them cleaning up the beach late one night.

Beautiful, well-kept campground with paved platforms at each campsite. The camp hosts were so nice and worked so hard to keep that campground clean. It was peaceful and quiet with a short walk to the lake and access to trails. Ended up staying a week!

As usual the grounds and facilities are well maintained. The access to the river and lake make it a unique place to camp. We will be back next year!!

Loved this campground! Tucked far enough on the main road you rarely hear road traffic. It’s walkable to the lake and on the river. The camp hosts do an amazing job cleaning everyday and taking good care of the sites!

What a wonderful campground! The camp hosts were so busy keeping the campground sites clean, even sweeping puddles of water off the pads. The sites are large, wonderfully level. The river is there for fishing, swimming or just
hiking around the area. We definitely will return to camp there again.

We drove over a mountain pass and other large hils to get to River Point. I usually don't fill my fresh water tank with water due to extra gas and power to head over passes etc. I knew this campgrounds has fresh water spigots in the area and I bought a slip on device to go over the spigot and the other end was threaded for a hose hook up to fill my fresh water tank. I was told I had to go to town and get my tank filled. I would recommend to make more double wide sites for RV to back in.
Thank you,
Keith Johnson
