We didn't stay at the site as it was raining and a longer drive drive to Glacier then we anticipated. We drove e closer to the park and stayed in a hotel room.
During our road trip we camped seven nights (of 13 nights). All the US Forest Service sites were really nice, clean and easy to reserve (mostly vacant sites available for that day). The cost was totally reasonable . The hosts were pleasant , restrooms clean. Thank you to the Forest Service for making these sites available. Jill and Mike Guffy, Ames, Iowa

We wanted to be close to Glacier for a day trip. Swan Lake works for this. We'll tended to.
For some reason one or more class a or c RVs ran their generators frequently. No need for ac so what's the deal.

Campground hosts over whelmed but did a tremendous job!! (3 hosts normally but they were the only ones). Kept campground clean and orderly dispite no help. Could tell it was wearing on them but they continued to do a excellent job.

Lovely campground and lake. Not giving 5 stars as the day use area, across the road from campground, charges $5 per day for day use. I feel if you're staying in the campground, you should get a window pass to place in your car and no charge. Also we experienced a high volume of large black flies everyday in the campsite and beach area in Late June. But gorgeous area, lots to see and do. Bigfork is only 15 miles away, great restaurants. Cute town.

The hosts were very helpful and they were even down a host and still manage to help the whole campground. Very clean campsites.

We really like Swan Lake Campground because the campsites are quite private and of good size. Our main problem came because I had a heart attack on our second day, and there is no cell service anywhere nearby. Fortunately, we were able to drive to Kalispell in time to be treated and save my life. Cell service would make a huge difference for that campground!
