We arrived in early October to find the entire campground had gone primitive. We were very aware that the park is extremely seasonal, but were given no advanced warning that upon arrival, all the bathrooms would be locked, all the water shut off, all the dump stations closed/locked and even more confusing, no one manning the visitors center, which was still open. It was an absolute ghost town. Why allow for reservations to be made, with descriptions of available amenities if wholly untrue. We were able to find an education guide, who was very friendly, but admittingly had no answers to any questions and provided us with a map of the park but noted "Just please be aware, this is an old map - we have not been given the updated ones'.
We were fortunate to be in an RV, but many others were not and visibly upset.
On a side note - this review was just for our experience. The campground is very nice and the park is obviously beautiful, but we made our way to the East entrance and after visiting St. Marys and Many Glaciers campgrounds - would recommend those over Apgar.
Still give the trip/visit a 10 out of 10!

Really fantastic! Free hot showers and nicely spaced sites. Really close to a lot of trails and overall just a banger

Beautiful location. Thanks for keeping the restroom open in Apgar Village. Small amenities make a difference.

This was the first time dry camping and as the website said, most of the bathrooms and water were shut off for the season. The APGAR tourist center was there and potable water was available, which made the trip good. Due to low traffic of tourist we were able to enjoy our time at APGAR going to and from the park. Going to the sun road was right outside the camp grounds which made early morning hikes very nice as it was a straight shot up. I would recommend staying here.
