The only thing that could have made our stay better was planning more time! It was a great stay, and of course packed with some of the world’s most beautiful scenery!

It was a nice campsite, the only issue was that the restroom close to me was closed for the season. No real issue since a walk is a good thing and the next one down wasn't all that far. Well maintained grounds.

Nice and clean campsite, the sites I stayed in and most all sites looked very private. Nice seperation for a more private camping visit. The volunteers were all helpful and friendly.

This was towards the end of a 99 day trip through Alaska, British Columbia, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Alberta. Almost all the provincial parks and national parks in Canada had electric. Why? Less pollution from generator use, quieter and a reality that a lot of people nowadays camp with electric needs.
Also, in Canada, they had recycling (for bottles and cans) at EVERY trash bin. One campground even had a recycling bin at every site. The recycling bin at Apgar was at the front (ok - I kept my recycling to when we were leaving) but it was so tall - that this 5’2” woman couldn’t reach it to open it!
The other thing - Apgar had ONE RV Dump and water filling station that was difficult to get in and out of and created traffic jams. Almost all the large Canadian campgrounds had at least 2 - I think Jasper and Banf had about 6.
I know all these faults aren’t due to recent budget cuts - these are things that should have been planned awhile ago. I had always thought our National Parks were superior - now I know otherwise.
