Apgar Campground is close to the action… which I why we stayed there just two night instead of four as we’d planned. Also, we had hoped for scenery, and while the campground was wooded and lovely, you couldn’t see the mountains! We fixed that by moving to Two Medicine Campground… and what an upgrade!

Very spacious campsites with a feeling of privacy. The campsites I stayed in were nice and level. I sleep in my camper and have a slide out kitchen set up, so a level parking spot is necessary for me. Site C-124 was next to the restroom and had it's own path. I found the motion detection light in the restroom to be frustrating. It turns off when you are in the stall. Not a big deal during the day, but at night it's a bad situation. Site B-072 was across the road from the restroom. That restroom is in bad shape. It is labeled as handicap accessible but I pretty sure a wheelchair would not fit through the door, make it over the 6 inch step up and once in the restroom, there wasn't a stall that they could access. The path to Apgar village was a great way to avoid the very limited parking in at area. I drove to Bowman Lake and it was gorgeous. The main road there turns into dirt, but is well maintained. The road past the entrance gate is rough, very narrow and extremely curvy, use caution! Going to the Sun Road was closed but I drove highway 2 over to Saint Mary's and then to Logan's Pass. There was still snow on the trail to Hidden Lake. I wouldn't have made it without trekking poles. Most people were sliding around on the trail and couldn't get past the switchback. All of the staff and rangers were so friendly and helpful everywhere I went. I had a great time.

We stayed in 3 different sites (B163, B166, C151) between 2 different loops. Our 21-foot Travato fit perfectly and no problems with leveling. The restrooms in B loop were clean and well stocked. The restrooms in C loop were clean, well-stocked and recently remodeled. Sites are dry camping only. The dump station is located at the campground entrance.

Not really big enough for 2 tents. Only only small pad and slightly sloped site. But the park is beautiful!!!! Very quiet campground which was nice
