The campground had just reopened after a several-year closure and everything was great! Could use some lights in the bathroom as it was quite dim even during the day. It's right next to Avalanch Lake trailhead, which was perfect.

Beautiful campground with easy access to nearby hikes. Flush toilets and running water. No lighting in the bathrooms so plan to being a head lamp or lantern. Easy access to potable water. Camp hosts were on top of it with monitoring campers leaving out food and coolers, taking seriously the regulations to prevent unwanted bear encounters. Would definitely camp here again!!

5

Very clean & quiet, shady & cool, with good access to Going-to-the-Sun road & hiking trails, clean bathrooms, good water. Was very pleased with the campsite. I will be back ASAP. No cell service unless I was high up in elevation(tops of mtns) but it was actually nice to not be able to be called. I think people to to detach from phones more, so no complaints in that regard

Wonderful campsite, by far the biggest one we stayed at in Glacier (compared to Many Glacier, St Mary, and backcountry). The host was very nice and the area was soothing and quiet. Walking distance to the Avalanche Lake trail, which was amazing.
