Many Glacier Campground is praised for its beautiful location and proximity to numerous hiking trails, making it a favorite among visitors. The campground is well-maintained, with clean bathrooms and friendly staff, enhancing the overall experience. While some campers noted issues with privacy and the need for showers at the nearby Motor Inn, the convenience and stunning scenery largely outweigh these minor drawbacks.

This time of year, the campground is half closed, but the bonus is half as many people. The proximity to trails and wildlife are awesome.

First time at East side of GNP! Wow! Bear sightings within first 20 mins. Less crowded which is nice, campgrounds are clean and well marked. Iceberg Trail was an exceptional hike! So much wildlife from bucks to brown bears. Even hearing the shale cascading on the trail was amazing! We will return!

I don’t recommend campsite 18. It was late September so we were directly next to the only working toilet, which meant zero privacy and also that we were asked to move our van for about 45 min while the sewage was pumped, which delayed our hiking day and cut our hike shorter than we would have liked. Also there was trash collection but no recycling.

What a lovely campground. It looked fairly new with flat parking pads, many trees, clean bathrooms, and access to fresh water. Easy walk to hotel, ranger station, and hiking trails. In our three week trip in a RV/Van through seven national parks this was the best campground!

From our site 2, there was a good open space beside us such that we could set up our starlink and had good reliable connection. This was our major concern with spending a week there as we needed to do some work while camping. Campsite itself is great, highly recommend.

This review is of campsite # 06, not the campground or area. The campsite sits in a low area or swale. The table and fire pit are 12 to 18" below the surrounding ground. The entire campsite is open, no screening, to the road and portions of the new parking lot. There is an almost constant stream of vehicles and walkers on the road. The tent pad is located between the table and road approximately 50 ft from a 20 inch storm drain, which is in clear view, for the new parking lot. The pull through parking pad is not level, it has a significant rise. I stayed 2 of my planned 5 nights before releasing the site.
