We had a great time camping at Many Glacier, the camp hosts were very informative and answered all of our questions!
The bathrooms were clean, and the proximity to Swiftcurrent Motor Inn along with their public showers and laundry were perfect. We don't always have these "luxuries" when camping!
Make sure to check out all of the trails right around the campground, lots to do and see!
Will definitely be back, hopefully sooner than later!

Many Glacier is one of my favorite camping locations within the park. It is significantly less populated than other campgrounds along going to the Sun Road, Bear's frequent this campground, and the campstore is conveniently located in walking distance. We say three bears while spending the night in Many Glacier. Will come back.

Loved the lady who checked us in. She was very helpful and personable. I felt really good about the bear safety and community education piece.
It was beautiful and quiet. Bathrooms were clean.

We stayed here for two nights. Hands down best area we visited in the park. Grinnel glacier was possibly the best hike we’ve ever done and we are avid hikers. If you want to see bears and moose, hike to bull trout lake of the lakes closer in. We paddle boarded Swiftcurrent lake, which was super fun. Make sure to bring life jackets as they are required. Will be back.

We understand that car camping puts us close to our neighbors — no problem or surprise there. But please, please consider removing the electric hand dryers from the restrooms. This sound detracts big time from the ambiance. Honestly we as campers would be more than capable of bringing our own hand towels into the bathrooms — or simply letting our hands air dry.
On the positive side — the trail access from the campground is phenomenal!

The campground is very busy and crowded but there is enough separation and vegetation between sites. Almost all the sites are well shaded. Wildlife are common--we had a cow moose and her calf wander right past our campsite. The location is extremely convenient to anything in the Many Glaciers area.

The campground is in a great location relative to trailheads & you can avoid the parking hassle at the Many Glacier area by staying in the campground. This particular site is close to the parking lot for Swiftcurrent Motor Inn & trailheads, which is convenient but does add noise. We set up our 12x15 tent in the pull-through driveway--the tent pad itself was too small (which we expected) but also had more large rocks than the driveway. You can pay for shower tokens at the Swiftcurrent camp store nearby which were clean & close by.

Expect lots of activity at this campground. Great family atmosphere. Bring binoculars to watch the wildlife in the evenings on the hillsides.

Many Glacier Campground is accessible via Glacier National Park roads, which connect to US Highway 2 approximately 25 miles to the south. US Highway 2 is the nearest major road providing access to the campground.

Policies & Rules
General
- Make Sure You Book the Correct Campsite! You are responsible for reading the site alerts and booking a site that will accommodate your equipment. Most campsites and driveways are very small and will not accommodate towed units over 21 feet (6.4 m). A limited number of sites can accommodate towed units 26 to 30 feet (8 to 9 m). Many campsites will not accommodate camper 'slide-outs'. If you must use slide-outs, please make a reservation at St. Mary Campground, located 22 miles (35 km) from Many Glacier and 1/2 mile (.8 km) along the Going-to-the-Sun Road.
- Entrance Fees. The park entrance fee is $35 per vehicle and $20 for hiker or bicyclist. The entrance fee is valid for seven days (and may be purchased upon arrival or in advance). The park honors Interagency annual and lifetime passes.
- Food Storage and Wildlife. Grizzly and black bears frequent the area. Food storage regulations are strictly enforced. When not in immediate use, all food, beverages, coolers, cooking and eating utensils, toiletries, pet food, or other attractants must be kept in a closed, hard-sided vehicle or secured in bear resistant lockers located throughout the campground.
- Rules and Regulations. It is the camper's responsibility to be aware of all Glacier National Park Campground Rules and Regulations
- Maximum Stay. Camping is limited to 14 days between July 1 and Labor Day, and 30 days between Labor Day and June 30.
- No Hookups. There are no electric, water or sewer hookups at individual campsites. Shared water spigots are located throughout the campground. One dump station is conveniently located at the entrance to the campground.
- Generator free sites are # 48 - 59, 71, and # 86- 102. Other sites allow generator use only during the hours of , , and .
- No Phone or Cell Connectivity. There is no public phone or cell phone coverage in or near Many Glacier Campground. The closest phone service is 12 miles (19 km) east in the town of Babb, MT.
- Maximum Number of Tents. Campsites allow a maximum of 2 tents per site.
- Hammocks. Hammocks must be hung over non vegetated areas using one inch straps or wider. Vegetation may not be trampled to access hammocks.
- Renting an RV or trailer? Per 36 CFR 5.3, commercial business may not take place inside Glacier National Park. This includes RVs and trailers being delivered within Glacier's boundaries. Renters of these must drive them in themselves.
