Many Glacier Campground is praised for its beautiful location and proximity to numerous hiking trails, making it a favorite among visitors. The campground is well-maintained, with clean bathrooms and friendly staff, enhancing the overall experience. While some campers noted issues with privacy and the need for showers at the nearby Motor Inn, the convenience and stunning scenery largely outweigh these minor drawbacks.

We did not get to enjoy Many Glacier this year, as it was closed to tent camping due to bear activity. Though it is entirely understandable why we were moved to another campground, HOW it happened was rather disappointing, and we ended up in four different campgrounds nowhere near Many Glacier, and nowhere near the hikes we had planned. Make sure you are flexible, and have a back up plan if you are tenting! Our previous experience in MG Campground was perfect!

Awesome location - we never had to get back into our car the 4 days that we camped here - so many great hikes start from this location!

Very nice campground with a close restroom, shop and general store. 2 tent limit despite the number of people per campsite so plan accordingly. This was a bit of a hurdle for us but we worked it out. This site is a great destination for many popular hikes, all with trailheads nearby :) No cell reception for about 25 minutes so plan accordingly for that as well!

The campground is excellent! It is not well suited for large RV's probably no longer than 30 ft as the sites are small. With that said, the proximity to hiking is perfect. I did not check the bathrooms so I cannot speak to their cleanliness. My only real complaint was that if you stay for 7 days in an RV and need water, you must go to the dump area to refill. There is water nearby where it would be easy to refill without breaking camp however the camp host stopped me in my tracks. (We were camped 20 ft from the faucet). There were however many people filling up 7 gallon containers to take back to their rig to refill while all I had was a hose. There were campers washing dishes under the same faucet even though the sign clearly said no dish washing. The camp host was located next to the water and ignored all other violators. We didn't make a fuss but by the way that he handled the situation really put a damper on our trip.

Only negative is the 12 mi approach road. In dire need of repair. The park is beautiful. Enjoyed bike rides on the roads. Wildlife viewing was spectacular. Get out and hike, it heals your soul.

The campground was beautiful, the people were for the most part very friendly. Loved how this campground was so close to the swift current inn.

However, they desperately need better dishwashing facilities. You're supposed to bring a bucket to wash your dishes but if you don't know that you don't have another choice since you aren't allowed to do them anywhere because of bears. At other bear friendly campgrounds I've stayed at they had a protected area where you could do your dishes with running water and a place to throw away refuse.

We arrived in the morning, expecting our campsite to be waiting for us, only to discover that someone else was set-up in our site. My name was on the post, but that didn't deter the occupants, who never arrived back at the site until the threat of being ousted had passed. Apparently, despite my pre-reservation and payment, we were not able to stay in the site we payed for! Fortunately, the camp host was able to put us in the last, unoccupied spot - a group camping spot that we shared with another couple. We were unable to utilize the fire-pit (as they were already set up next to it) and merely slept there for the night. We will not return to this campground or recommend it to anyone.
