Spacious well-forested camp sites, beautiful views replete with both cabin rentals, a restaurant and general store. The campground is also the trail head for iceberg lake, ptarmigan trail, and Grinnell glacier, spectacular hikes.

We had a great site next to the creek. This is a beautiful campground with amazing views of the mountains. The wooded sites make each space pretty private. Miraculously, we were able to get a site only three days before our stay.

Site 110 was a bit small for our large tent but 65 was plenty spacious. Proximity to the restaurant / coffee shop is good on days you don’t want to make your own meals or coffee.
Restrooms are clean. Many Glacier area is beautiful.

Campsite 22 is near a bathroom and backs up to the parking lot for the Motor Inn and trailhead, so you get light at night and a fair amount of road noise early in the morning.

I'm writing this review regarding the management at Glacier National Park, the 22nd national park I enjoyed visiting. Despite its northern location, it's one of the busier parks I've been to, with many regular visitors using it as a north retreat to the Rocky Mountains.
Regrettably, I found the park's management less impressive than other national parks. It seems as if a basic level of service was the norm. Here are some examples from our visit:
- Campground management: The upkeep of the trees and branches was subpar, making it challenging even for a van to fit into most camping spots without risking scratches on the body or roof.
- Road conditions: The National Park has done commendable work maintaining the Sun Road, but this seems to be focused on the top of Mountain Road. However, a stretch of over 9 miles by Lake Macdonald is a gravel road riddled with large holes. This flat and straight road is quite unusual.
- Access road to Many Glacier Campground: While the road leading to this campground is well-maintained and beautiful, there's a 5-mile rough gravel road right in the middle, this part sadly detracts from the overall experience.

The staff create a great vibe here, from friendly camp hosts to knowledgeable rangers giving great talks. Everyone is here to hike and explore the area, and are psyched to share stories and give tips on wildlife viewing

Greatest trails to run in the world. Love Swiftcurrent to Granite Park Chalet and of course, Iceberg Lake. Flowers are beautiful. Just be sure to make noise, carry bear spray, slow down around blind turns, thick brush,and you should be safe. l

Ranger at station was helpful. Bathrooms were clean and convenient. Ranger led discovery hike/walk to Fishercap Lake and Wilbur falls was delightful. We saw several moose and learned about different berries along trail and which were safe to eat. Huckleberries we’re good-can see why bears love them. Grateful bears weren’t in campground. Everyone seemed to keep sites clean.

Many Glacier Campground is accessible via Glacier National Park roads, which connect to US Highway 2 approximately 25 miles to the south. US Highway 2 is the nearest major road providing access to the campground.

Policies & Rules
General
- Make Sure You Book the Correct Campsite! You are responsible for reading the site alerts and booking a site that will accommodate your equipment. Most campsites and driveways are very small and will not accommodate towed units over 21 feet (6.4 m). A limited number of sites can accommodate towed units 26 to 30 feet (8 to 9 m). Many campsites will not accommodate camper 'slide-outs'. If you must use slide-outs, please make a reservation at St. Mary Campground, located 22 miles (35 km) from Many Glacier and 1/2 mile (.8 km) along the Going-to-the-Sun Road.
- Entrance Fees. The park entrance fee is $35 per vehicle and $20 for hiker or bicyclist. The entrance fee is valid for seven days (and may be purchased upon arrival or in advance). The park honors Interagency annual and lifetime passes.
- Food Storage and Wildlife. Grizzly and black bears frequent the area. Food storage regulations are strictly enforced. When not in immediate use, all food, beverages, coolers, cooking and eating utensils, toiletries, pet food, or other attractants must be kept in a closed, hard-sided vehicle or secured in bear resistant lockers located throughout the campground.
- Rules and Regulations. It is the camper's responsibility to be aware of all Glacier National Park Campground Rules and Regulations
- Maximum Stay. Camping is limited to 14 days between July 1 and Labor Day, and 30 days between Labor Day and June 30.
- No Hookups. There are no electric, water or sewer hookups at individual campsites. Shared water spigots are located throughout the campground. One dump station is conveniently located at the entrance to the campground.
- Generator free sites are # 48 - 59, 71, and # 86- 102. Other sites allow generator use only during the hours of , , and .
- No Phone or Cell Connectivity. There is no public phone or cell phone coverage in or near Many Glacier Campground. The closest phone service is 12 miles (19 km) east in the town of Babb, MT.
- Maximum Number of Tents. Campsites allow a maximum of 2 tents per site.
- Hammocks. Hammocks must be hung over non vegetated areas using one inch straps or wider. Vegetation may not be trampled to access hammocks.
- Renting an RV or trailer? Per 36 CFR 5.3, commercial business may not take place inside Glacier National Park. This includes RVs and trailers being delivered within Glacier's boundaries. Renters of these must drive them in themselves.
