I visited in mid-June and still found a free campsite online just 2 days in advance, but I'm sure everything will fill up much earlier during peak season. Sites are fairly close together but there's enough privacy. I was in site number 70 and it was fine. These campsite loops are adjacent to the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn so if you felt like a restaurant meal you could go over there, plus there's a store if you need it. Many Glacier is a great place to camp with numerous hikes available. Go for it!

A nice campground in the heart of Many Glacier. You can’t see the lake from the campground, but there’s a creek nearby and views of the mountain tops. The campground is about a one-minute drive from the lodge and within walking distance of Swiftcurrent Motor Inn, which offers coin showers, a gift shop, a restaurant, and free Wi-Fi. Be prepared for quite a few wildlife-related policies, as this is wilderness camping and bears have moved into the area since it recently reopened. Overall, it’s a great camping location and we had fun!

Volunteer was ruthless. Called me by name on check in at my campsite. Volunteer ran the camp with an iron fist. He did dozens of rounds during the evening. I spayed him doing rounds at 645am making sure everything was within regulation before the masses awoke. Never experienced a national campground with such a rigid campmaster. He had a stick up his.

Nice, quiet campground near the creek and several trails into the wilderness. Less busy here than on the west side during peak season. Just be prepared for the wildlife.

Nice and clean camping site, friendly and helpful staffs. The camping ground lactation is very good hiking, wildlife watching and finding some nice meals.

Very decent campground and amazing location. The convenience of the Motor Stop store across the parking lot made my kids pretty happy due to the ice cream machine. Nearby trailheads only a 100yds away was tremendous and relaxing on the porch of the Many Glacier hotel was a highlight.
Spot 95 was sufficient but tight. Broken glass littered the ground. Table was in damaged condition and no grill grate (maybe intentional due to bears). My biggest pet peeve is camp spots all around us were reserved yet nobody showed up. There’s got to be a better system that avoids this so those of us who do want to enjoy and who aren’t flakes can.
I was stingy on the rating because it is disappointing to see minimal investment put into these campground facilities. Bathrooms reeked even though they were clean. Very old inefficient plumbing and some updated facilities should have been built 10+ years ago.

Nice tree cover, very clean restrooms and showers, easy walking distance to Fishercap Lake to watch for moose.
Great fully stocked campstore and gift shop with attached restaurant for the days we weren’t wanting to cook in camp.

Many Glacier Campground is accessible via Glacier National Park roads, which connect to US Highway 2 approximately 25 miles to the south. US Highway 2 is the nearest major road providing access to the campground.

Policies & Rules
General
- Make Sure You Book the Correct Campsite! You are responsible for reading the site alerts and booking a site that will accommodate your equipment. Most campsites and driveways are very small and will not accommodate towed units over 21 feet (6.4 m). A limited number of sites can accommodate towed units 26 to 30 feet (8 to 9 m). Many campsites will not accommodate camper 'slide-outs'. If you must use slide-outs, please make a reservation at St. Mary Campground, located 22 miles (35 km) from Many Glacier and 1/2 mile (.8 km) along the Going-to-the-Sun Road.
- Entrance Fees. The park entrance fee is $35 per vehicle and $20 for hiker or bicyclist. The entrance fee is valid for seven days (and may be purchased upon arrival or in advance). The park honors Interagency annual and lifetime passes.
- Food Storage and Wildlife. Grizzly and black bears frequent the area. Food storage regulations are strictly enforced. When not in immediate use, all food, beverages, coolers, cooking and eating utensils, toiletries, pet food, or other attractants must be kept in a closed, hard-sided vehicle or secured in bear resistant lockers located throughout the campground.
- Rules and Regulations. It is the camper's responsibility to be aware of all Glacier National Park Campground Rules and Regulations
- Maximum Stay. Camping is limited to 14 days between July 1 and Labor Day, and 30 days between Labor Day and June 30.
- No Hookups. There are no electric, water or sewer hookups at individual campsites. Shared water spigots are located throughout the campground. One dump station is conveniently located at the entrance to the campground.
- Generator free sites are # 48 - 59, 71, and # 86- 102. Other sites allow generator use only during the hours of , , and .
- No Phone or Cell Connectivity. There is no public phone or cell phone coverage in or near Many Glacier Campground. The closest phone service is 12 miles (19 km) east in the town of Babb, MT.
- Maximum Number of Tents. Campsites allow a maximum of 2 tents per site.
- Hammocks. Hammocks must be hung over non vegetated areas using one inch straps or wider. Vegetation may not be trampled to access hammocks.
- Renting an RV or trailer? Per 36 CFR 5.3, commercial business may not take place inside Glacier National Park. This includes RVs and trailers being delivered within Glacier's boundaries. Renters of these must drive them in themselves.
