Many Glacier was by far the best campsite we stayed at in Glacier. The park staff were very friendly and helpful, the site was clean and quiet despite the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn parking lot behind it, and the public showers at nearby Swiftcurrent were so welcome after several days in the park.

The campsite was great.The host very friendly and informative.The only thing I didn’t like was the shower situation.You had to go to the hotel across the street and they charged $4.Thr campground is in a great area with plenty of hikes and activities.I even had a bear come behind my tent.

Many Glacier is an exceptionally well designed campground. Each site (we had two different ones) was easy to access (although narrow between the trees for a Class B camper), level, and either shady or with a fabulous view. Best of all, once parked you had access to several trails and didn’t need to deal with the limited parking in the area. We hiked up Swiftwater, Lake Josephine, and the Iceberg Lake drainages from the campground. My only surprise was the 2.5 section of gravel road between Babb and Many Glacier, which rattled the camper and its contents and was not shown or described on any map or handout…just unexpected, not a deterrent.

Very nicely kept, bathrooms were pretty good. Site was pretty good and we loved the river so close with amazing views. Nice the Swiftcurrent had showers available and WiFi. Overall beautiful spot and can’t beat the closeness to the trail heads!

Noisy neighbors the first night, great place for hiking out of tho so centrally located off many amazing hikes.

Many Glacier Campground is accessible via Glacier National Park roads, which connect to US Highway 2 approximately 25 miles to the south. US Highway 2 is the nearest major road providing access to the campground.

Policies & Rules
General
- Make Sure You Book the Correct Campsite! You are responsible for reading the site alerts and booking a site that will accommodate your equipment. Most campsites and driveways are very small and will not accommodate towed units over 21 feet (6.4 m). A limited number of sites can accommodate towed units 26 to 30 feet (8 to 9 m). Many campsites will not accommodate camper 'slide-outs'. If you must use slide-outs, please make a reservation at St. Mary Campground, located 22 miles (35 km) from Many Glacier and 1/2 mile (.8 km) along the Going-to-the-Sun Road.
- Entrance Fees. The park entrance fee is $35 per vehicle and $20 for hiker or bicyclist. The entrance fee is valid for seven days (and may be purchased upon arrival or in advance). The park honors Interagency annual and lifetime passes.
- Food Storage and Wildlife. Grizzly and black bears frequent the area. Food storage regulations are strictly enforced. When not in immediate use, all food, beverages, coolers, cooking and eating utensils, toiletries, pet food, or other attractants must be kept in a closed, hard-sided vehicle or secured in bear resistant lockers located throughout the campground.
- Rules and Regulations. It is the camper's responsibility to be aware of all Glacier National Park Campground Rules and Regulations
- Maximum Stay. Camping is limited to 14 days between July 1 and Labor Day, and 30 days between Labor Day and June 30.
- No Hookups. There are no electric, water or sewer hookups at individual campsites. Shared water spigots are located throughout the campground. One dump station is conveniently located at the entrance to the campground.
- Generator free sites are # 48 - 59, 71, and # 86- 102. Other sites allow generator use only during the hours of , , and .
- No Phone or Cell Connectivity. There is no public phone or cell phone coverage in or near Many Glacier Campground. The closest phone service is 12 miles (19 km) east in the town of Babb, MT.
- Maximum Number of Tents. Campsites allow a maximum of 2 tents per site.
- Hammocks. Hammocks must be hung over non vegetated areas using one inch straps or wider. Vegetation may not be trampled to access hammocks.
- Renting an RV or trailer? Per 36 CFR 5.3, commercial business may not take place inside Glacier National Park. This includes RVs and trailers being delivered within Glacier's boundaries. Renters of these must drive them in themselves.
