What Guests Are Saying

Many Glacier Campground is praised for its beautiful location and proximity to numerous hiking trails, making it a favorite among visitors. The campground is well-maintained, with clean bathrooms and friendly staff, enhancing the overall experience. While some campers noted issues with privacy and the need for showers at the nearby Motor Inn, the convenience and stunning scenery largely outweigh these minor drawbacks.

We spent a week at many glaciers campground and loved it. We were surprised at how quiet and peaceful it was. The group site was great and accommodated our large group with 5 tents, 4 vehicles and small cargo trailer. We loved the proximity to the trailheads and store. We would definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to get another site.

Nice and cozy campsite but lack privacy. The campground overall is excellent, resurfaced road and clean toilets.

Campground was a great location to access trails on the northeast corner of the park. Campground host and rangers were friendly and helpful with our questions.
We appreciated the shower and laundry facilities, even though both were almost always busy and required a wait.
The food at Nan’s restaurant was very good for an out of the way eatery and waitstaff were very friendly.

I have been going here for 30 years. Still as special as ever. Plus the addition of more parking allows for more people to enjoy area during the day.

Our favorite campground at Glacier. Great location near the trails. Clean and good balance of shade and some sun for solar. No showers.
