Even though it rained on us we loved the campsite and view of the mountains. And the proximity to town was nice.

Great layout for a visit to GNP.
Since there are restrictions on who can travel to different areas of the park. Please provide info on how to gain access to the North section of the east side of the park. We were disappointed we could not book access on the day we stay at the campground.

Site was nice soft grass ideal for tent camping. We were close to loop B bathrooms. Really the only negatives are that there are no showers except for in one Loop C building (high demand!) so no showers after an 18 mile day of hiking. Also the second night there was a huge group in the site next to us and they were noisy late at night and early the next morning. They should have been in a group site.
The night sky was amazing and the campground was super convenient to st Mary’s and Many Glacier

St Mary campground was nice and clean. We did not utilize the showers, but having access to a dishwashing area was awesome! I wish the tent pads were bigger, but that may have been a lack of planning/measuring on my part.
