Had someone else in our campsite that was nowhere to be found. The campground host and ranger were very helpful. They gave us an admin site Turned an annoyance into a great couple days. Thanks

Best campground location in the park. It's 30 minutes to Logan Pass and 30 minutes to Many Glacier. The weather is often better than the West side of the park, and it's far less crowded near the East entrance. Showers available in loop C!

Beautiful campground and we loved the ranger talk and fishing in the river! Our site could have been a little more level for our class B RV. The pull-through was nice, but we couldn't find a spot that was super level. But it was fine and we'd stay here again. :)

I traveled with a Scouting America Troop from Massachusetts and stayed at a Group Site in the C Loop. The facilities were spotless, staff was friendly, and other campers were respectful. But the view was spectacular! Our site had a panoramic view of the mountains that would take your breath away!
My two complaints would be that (a) the gravel tent pads were not very practical because it was nearly impossible to get the tent staked and (b) shade was sparse and there were no trees for the Scouts to erect a rainfly.

Very good overall, and I appreciated the evening program with the ranger, however the shower was luke warm at best. I would have loved a hot shower and appreciate this is minor in the scheme of things, but the other campgrounds across Grand Tetons, Yellowstone and others at Glacier all had hot water.

Great spot to stay for a few days and explore Glacier. The town of St. Mary is very close for necessities, although like most people, I’d suggest you fill up on gas and groceries before you arrive (gas was a full dollar more expensive than in Browning!). Was surprised to have cell service (Verizon) and the lack of trees meant my Starlink connection was great, too. Really enjoyed the nightly ranger-led talks in the campground.

Make sure you ask if the site you choose have branches lower than your trailer height … we could not get in the site

This was a really great spot with a fair amount of privacy, and an excellent view of the mountains! Couldn’t have been better!

A beautiful and clean camp ground, near the Visitor's Center. Beautiful views. Spacious. Reasonably priced.
