Special national park! One of our favorites in the country! The scenery is amazing, saw so many animals, and had so many great hikes.

Wonderful campground! Each site secluded from neighbours by trees & site was perfect for tent. Facilities were a clean washroom & safe garbage disposal.

We were very thankful this spot opened up at the last minute! Loop A was quiet and clean. The shared plots were surprising, but turned out just fine. From A, it was quite a walk and a long wait for showers since only two were working in the entire campground.

Giving 5 stars because if our neighbors hadn’t been our neighbors, it would have been excellent. We were in site 15. It’s huge, open, and peaceful. The host was kind and the site was clean. Firewood was $8 a bundle and good quality wood. Warning to those of you that are looking for a peaceful visit - site 14, while plenty far away from 15 to not be a problem, is a double site and apparently that invites large crowds who come to blow off steam. We left early due to them overflowing both theirs and our trash can within 1 full day and slamming stuff, yelling, walking by and making noise all day and into the night. There were 20 people in that site. So just be aware that while this site and this park are lovely, the double sites invite a different experience.

Big tip is to watch your stuff since other campers can be criminals. Campground was good as usual. Have been many times over the years. The bad part was just from other people. My daughter and I had our firewood set to go at our campsite (which was paid for and obviously tagged for the next couple of nights). Drove out to the nearby market for a few things for a fun evening of s'mores and snacks. Come back and the firewood is gone! They took our new wood and cleaned out fire pit of most remaining partially burned wood. They left us a burned charcoal log and some pieces. We were quite disappointed and by then, the stores were closed to get any more. After we sulked for a bit, I decided that other people were not going to ruin my family night so I set to practice my skills and get the charcoal chunks going. Even after being soaked in rain/water, once they caught fire, they burned well and we saved the night to have some s'mores. But the whole thing darkens the spirit of camping around other people even more.
