Stayed one night in late June 2023 on loop C. Beautiful site with some nice trees and a robust picnic table. Showers were convenient, but tepid at best. Bathrooms were clean, but the soap dispensers were empty (that may be intentional as other park bathrooms didn’t have them at all). Would stay again!

Only problem noone ever checked generators and they were always run in times not allotted. All else wonderful

Awesome time. Saw lots of wildlife. Camp ground very clean and maintained. One of the showers was out of service but they were working diligently to get it up for the 4th holiday

The campground is good but the location makes this place excellent. I really liked that most bath houses have a dump station so if you have a portable tank, you don’t have to run it up to the front to dump it. The bathrooms are nice. The showers on the other hand leave some to be desirable. First off, there is only 4 showers for every camper (it’s the largest public campground in East Glacier). One of the showers was down. Two were cold and the other one was warm. There was atleast a 20 min wait every night to get a shower. The sites are hit and miss but the only campground I saw on east glacier (public wise) that could fit big rigs easily (A loop). B loop is pretty open and my solar did a good job of keeping up. However like I said, the location to GTSR is why you camp here! You can jump right on the road without a reservation. Many Glacier is really close. At the time we went, the road to Two Medicine had a mud slide and so we had an additional 10 mins to get there (about 30 mins in all). St Mary and East Glacier don’t have much but enough for the traveler to get what they need. However, the views from GTSR, Many Glacier and Two Medicine are the best in the entire park!

This is a beautiful campground. There are lots of pull through spaces. It didn't seem that every site had a bear box, maybe they are still being put out? There were some fantastic views from some of the sites in Loops B and C. Loop A is closer to the trail that goes down to the bridge. Visitor center and town are quite close.

The campsites we stayed in were great for a tent trailer. The campground host cam around and checked in with us and went over the rules since we are in grizzly country. The entire experience was great and I love this campground!
