The campground is nice and the area around it with the lakes and mountains truly lives up to the descriptions. Our stay at the campground was pretty good with the exception of the description and placement of our original campsite. We have a 15' slide in truck camper that we like to unload in order to make travel around easier while we are at a campground. The site that we reserved initially was not at all suitable for that nor would it have been for any kind of RV unit--it is suitable for tenting only. Consequently we had to move 2 times during our 6 day stay. Also, recreation.gov would not give us an option to change sites. Changing was only possible through the folks on site. Thank you Cheryl and Stu.

Location is great as the Two Medicine Lake, trails and scenery are wonderful. The campground itself has some sites that are good, although I wouldn’t say great. The area itself is commonly windy which can necessitate both staking a tent, awning or gazebo down, but also staying it on all sides.
There are other campsites (I will mention 61 and 62) that are among the worst I’ve made use of. The asphalt is likely multiple decades old, crumbled, completely missing in many spots, and the sites themselves are very uneven, both fore and aft, as well as side to side. I wouldn’t conceive anyone with a trailer or slide-in camper would be able to use these sites even with leveling pads.

This is hands down the most beautiful campground we've ever stayed in! And site 89 was probably the best site in the entire campground, AMAZING views, huge flat site, perfect for a larger RV or trailer. We loved Two Medicine so much, we decided to stay another week, but just had to move to a different site and it is still beautiful!
