Much less crowded than St Mary or Many Glacier, but several top-10 hikes in the park start from here!

Seems like Park Rangers were part of a positive experience. They are no longer. No one to manage the Park on a personal level. Sites go unused and people unsure if a site was reserved or will go empty for the night. We would be happy to pay for an empty site. Instead no one can let anyone know if a site was reserved or not. If you did reserve, and someone took your site, no one to prove otherwise. An honor system and the Park employees really have no clue. No internet or phone access in many sites. Needs to be a better way.

We didn't end up staying because of the thunderstorms that came in - it rained all night. However, we did drive through the next day & discovered this site was not under water like many others. There must be enough slope for the water to run off & not pool. It's a beautiful site, right next to the water & bridge. I wish the weather would have been nicer because it would have been beautiful!
