Two Medicine was a great place to stay on the east side of the park! This site is up on a hill and close to the bathroom but not so close that the light is a problem at night. The tent pad was just the right size for our 3-man tent. The scenery is beautiful, with the mountains overshadowing the campground and just a short walk to the lake.

Two Medicine campground is beautiful as always, however, the booking process with Recreation.gov lacks something to be desired. Many campsites sat empty and we tried all summer to get a spot. I was told there’s a cancellation fee so people don’t cancel. They just pay for the spot they booked. Trying to use the app to book was frustrating. I would click on a place and it would tell me that it was not released even though I was four days before. All the days would say they were available in the morning only. This is not a user-friendly app and a lot of camp spots are going unused, but are held with a reservation so the rest of us, especially those who are local, are out of luck. I don’t blame Glacier National Park, the park is still beautiful. The reservation app, however, only gets one star.

The campsite was in a beautiful location. It was very clean. I was there in the fall so the flush toilets and water were closed, but it was still a great experience.

I enjoyed my stay at this campground. Beautiful location with the lake and mountains right beside you. There was a cow and calf moose just outside the campground in the evening that was fun to watch. I also enjoyed the people I met while camping there and getting to see the Northern lights once the sun set. While the drive in was a bit bumpy it was a beautiful drive with all the fall colors. I would definitely camp here again.
