Mr. Smith the Camp host keeps an Excellent campground. Bathroom was PERFECT. Thank you for providing my family with such a wonderful experience!

Huckleberries everywhere! It was a nice spot, disregarding the jerks on boats who show up to shoot fireworks. The road needs to be graded, but other than that, a very nice spot.

We had a great time there and the camp host was the best. The sites are nice and they have hand pump water. The only thing to be aware of is you’re 22+ miles from the main little town so take everything you need. Cell service isn’t really available.

Beautiful campsite with access to the water all around. Nearby boat launch. Great campsite hosts. No mosquitos at the end of June!

Murray Bay is a beautiful campground. Most sites are pretty private with lots of vegetation. The bay is lovely for kayaking and fishing.

Love this place and make an annual trek here with friends. Peaceful, clean, and worth the long, bumpy ride up the dirt road.

Getting There
From Martin City, Montana, turn off Highway 2 and continue on the main road through the town heading south. This road becomes East Side Reservoir Road. Continue for about 22 mi to the campground.

Arrival & departure
- First-come, first-served sites are not reservable online and may already be occupied.
- Reserved sites must be occupied by checkout time the day after arrival to avoid forfeiture.

Site types & loops
- Reservation holders cannot switch to a walk-up campsite upon arrival; you must stay at your reserved site.
Vehicles & parking
- Each site allows 2 passenger vehicles; the first is included, and an extra charge of $5 per night applies for additional vehicles.
Local regulations
- Drop camping is prohibited without a permit; rental campers cannot be delivered.
Wildlife & food storage
- A food storage order is in place; attractants must be stored properly at all times.
Fires & fuel
- Do not move firewood; obtain it locally to prevent pest spread.
