Campground host was kind, bathrooms were very clean. But most importantly our campsite was in the perfect location.

Don’t take a trailer!! The campground itself was fine. But the campground description fails to say that there is a 22 mile gravel road filled with potholes that you have to travel to get to the campground. We were pulling a trailer that we didn’t want to tear up, so it took us an hour and 40 minutes to drive those 22 miles. We were scheduled for four nights. But after the first we found another campground to stay the rest of our time in the area.

WARNING - Do not book this campsite unless you intend to visit with an off-road vehicle. The campsite is >20 miles from the main road on a gravel road with thousands of pot holes (no exaggeration). We had to go an average speed of 10mph to try and avoid as many as possible, and still we had to take our car afterward to have our wheels/steering realigned. The campsite itself is in a beautiful location, but the facilities are primitive and I would not stay here again.

You would have to drive about 40-50 minutes of dirt road from Highway 2 to get this campground. Very dusty all the way. The campsite has lake views and that’s about it, nothing else is worthy of recommendation.
