What Guests Are Saying

Tally Lake Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, secluded setting, spacious campsites, and friendly camp hosts who enhance the overall experience. Campers enjoy various activities such as swimming, kayaking, and hiking, with many expressing a desire to return. While there are some concerns about dust from gravel roads and occasional issues with water pressure, the campground is generally clean and well-maintained, making it a favorite among visitors.

We went late in the season and the campground had very few campers in it. It was quiet, very clean, and the lake was beautiful.

We LOVE Tally Lake. A beautiful 20-30 min drive from downtown Whitefish, and you feel completely removed. The Campground hosts are wonderful, I wish I could remember their names. They recommended we wake up to watch the lake "rise," and it was wonderful. Mist lifted off the lake as the sun came up. The night before we had a nightmare campground experience, and Tally Lake was heaven sent. We slept like babies. I would absolutely return.

Tally Lake campground is beautiful and well maintained. I was able to pick huckleberries right beside my tent (huckleberry pancakes - bonus!). The lake is beautiful and so close!
