Tally Lake Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, secluded setting, spacious campsites, and friendly camp hosts who enhance the overall experience. Campers enjoy various activities such as swimming, kayaking, and hiking, with many expressing a desire to return. While there are some concerns about dust from gravel roads and occasional issues with water pressure, the campground is generally clean and well-maintained, making it a favorite among visitors.

Location is beautiful, campgrounds are clean and easily labeled. Easy beach area for water entry and swimming, paddling, etc…Water pumps between campsites too. Downside: mosquitos so thick you can catch them in your hand. Swarms of them. Deet, mosquito coils, citronella candles, smoke from the fire didn’t matter much they kept coming except for early morning. A little better down by the lake surprisingly. Our campsite was close to the road so we had lights and sounds from passing cars throughout the night. Still it’s a peaceful lake, family friendly, bring bikes for the kids to ride. Be prepared for your car to be covered in thick dust from the drive to and fro.

We had a great experience! Small campground tucked back at the head of the lake. Campsite was everything we expected and the lake was beautiful! We will definitely stay again!

Great campground, get your live settled as there is no cell service here! Bring your paddleboard, kayak and your swim trunks!

Our visit was superb! The site was in the best shape ever since we started going there about 15 years ago. The current staff is pleasant, knowledgeable, and extremely hard working. The site was perfectly prepared for our group.

Always good to get back to one of our favorites. Seemed to be some confusion about our dates, but all worked out. Grounds were great and was nice to see some improvements taking place. Restrooms were nicely kept up. Camp hosts were friendly. Birding was great
