What Guests Are Saying
Tally Lake Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, secluded setting, spacious campsites, and friendly camp hosts who enhance the overall experience. Campers enjoy various activities such as swimming, kayaking, and hiking, with many expressing a desire to return. While there are some concerns about dust from gravel roads and occasional issues with water pressure, the campground is generally clean and well-maintained, making it a favorite among visitors.

Campground was very nice. Bathrooms were clean. My problem was because of dry weather the dirt roads in campground were dusty and the campground hosts and their children would drive very fast in the golf carts creating lots of dust when they should realize they should set the example of slow driving. Because this campground has a wonderful lake beach, outside people, not campers, would also not adhere to the campground speed limit and stir up dust as they drive in. Roads to campground were very dusty, which was expected. Because of the campground dust, we did not stay our full reserved time. As I stated the campground was nice other than speed of vehicles, mainly the hosts example.

I appreciate the firewood we bought there was dry good wood-- not damp pine like a bunch of other campgrounds !

Had a great time and weather was perfect. The only issue was check out. My reservation said 2:00 check in and 2:00 check out. At 1:00 I was told I was suppose to be out by 11:00. There was a huge time difference from the host and what my reservation said. We had to hurry to get packed up and out. This needs to be fixed right away or there will be many upset and mad visitors.

The grass at the campsites need to be cut. Grass around rocks and picnic tables unsightly. Long dusty road

Next time I will not park next to a big camper with a generator that runs for hours.

Love the campground. Camp host was great and helpful. Making reservations didn't turn out as well. The website says the spots are "F" for the weekend which is First come, First served. Made the reservation for Thursday night and find out that the weekend is already reserved. Luckily there was one spot left for the weekend so we took it. Lost the money for Thursday, but at least we got a spot. Overall, it was a great weekend.
