What Guests Are Saying
Tally Lake Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, secluded setting, spacious campsites, and friendly camp hosts who enhance the overall experience. Campers enjoy various activities such as swimming, kayaking, and hiking, with many expressing a desire to return. While there are some concerns about dust from gravel roads and occasional issues with water pressure, the campground is generally clean and well-maintained, making it a favorite among visitors.

The campground host was very friendly and helpful. Campsites offered long pull-throughs and were nice and spotless. ATV traffic on road adjacent to campground could be a little loud at times.

We stayed here on a Saturday and Sunday night in late September and it was quiet and a great spot. Bathrooms were clean, space between sites was more than I had thought for a popular spot and close beach access and trails were great. Camp host was very nice and helpful

Not only was the campground wonderful with lots of walking and hiking areas, it's also a great place for swimming and biking. The camp josts were the most helpful when checking in and most of all they were so unobtrusive, that alone made me want to go back again and again! They are keepers in my book!

The campground is good, near the lake and scenic. Bathrooms clean. Host missing some of the time but she is stretched thin. Lost water for a day. Terrible 7 miles of washboards to get there but that is not the campsites fault.

The campground is beautiful and well maintained. The toilets kept very clean. They have Kayaks and Canoes for rent as well as Sail Board. A very nice beach with picnic tables for day use.
The challenge to get there was that the GPS in my truck kept trying to take me through the old Tally Lake Road which is through and residential area and dead ends about two miles in. The GPS also give two different route in with one going down 12 mile fo dirt/gravel road and the other going on 4 miles of gravel road, which is the better route. Make sure to continue North on Highway 93 to the Farm to Market road which will take you to the shorter Dirt/gravel road.

It's much further away from Glacier than I expected. However, it was quiet, mostly clean and very secluded. Other than the road to get there, I was very satisfied.

Tally Lake was beautiful. The campsites were nice. The gravel road to and from the campground was long and very bumpy.
