What Guests Are Saying
Tally Lake Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, secluded setting, spacious campsites, and friendly camp hosts who enhance the overall experience. Campers enjoy various activities such as swimming, kayaking, and hiking, with many expressing a desire to return. While there are some concerns about dust from gravel roads and occasional issues with water pressure, the campground is generally clean and well-maintained, making it a favorite among visitors.

Our group had 11 people and two camp sites. We had a wonderful time. The camp sites were very comfortable and large. The map through recreation.gov is not very accurate. Our two sites were not kitty corner from each other, they were on the same side of the road with one site between us. The powers to be need to dust coat the road. It is so dusty. The vault toilet ran out of paper because the camp host had a day off. (We all need a day off.) I was surprised they didn't stock up before leaving.

Great sites, tons of wood, camp hosts were very welcoming, and tons of douches playing their music super loud.
Still not sure how itβs not a federal crime. I think to The Hague for those campers with built in outdoor speakers.

Beautiful spacious campground. Plenty of room for privacy without other campsites right on top of each other.

LOVED this campground. Huge sites, huge trees, very quite, beautiful lake. We stayed here for 4 nights in a 36 ft motorhome. We kayaked and fished. Fyi. Don't make our mistake of going by GPS and taking Tally Lake rd, it's 8 + miles of dirt gravel rd, coming in on Star Meadows road, it's a dirt gravel rd but its not as long
