Basic open group tent site. RV generators remarkably noisy in that part of the campground, but turned off after 10 pm. Would stay again as a convenient road-trip stopover but not as a destination (to each their own).

Campground hosts were OUTSTANDING! Campground was well kept and patrolled.
While we were there, the concert on the lake happened. Our boat was in a dock slip and got hit twice by boats trying to load new people from the side slip docks instead of at the end of the main dock. More patrol and supervision is needed during events with higher than usual watercraft launching.
Several people riding wave runners without life jackets and minors driving boats.

This was my first time primitive camping and I couldn’t have picked a better experience. #5 was a great spot for putting my paddle board in and taking my dog out. Waters clear, cool and beautiful. Roads coming in are excellent. Go slow on the curves. Roads are paved to campground. No over hanging trees. Bathrooms are clean and accessible. Landscape is kept beautiful, no over grown areas. Camp sites are clean and ready for new guests. Big spaces with pits and concrete picnic table. Great walks paths! Dog stations with poop bags available throughout the campground. Signs clearly mark everything in the park. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😴
