Nice little park with a few sites able to see Lake Mead. Bathrooms & sites were both clean The only thing I didn't care for was how fast everyone drove through the campground. It seems some people have no common sense or lack common courtesy to drive at a respectable speed.

Stayed with my 4runner and a tent. Not very private, there were a lot of retirees staying there in campers that would drive/walk by and stare at me and my site which I found odd. Also random cars that weren't staying there would drive around the loop too which was kinda sus. It was nice to have a bathroom with running water, the campsite itself was spacious, and there were a couple nice pavilions to relax at.

This was our first time at Callville Bay. We arrived at 4:30pm and went straight to our site #28. When I stepped out of the truck I was met with the most ridiculously load propane generator on wheels. Then I heard music bass. We took the dog for a walk before we set up to check out our surroundings. We headed in the direction of the generator and bass. When we went passed the trailer & generator the music was crazy load on the other side. The generator was drowning out some music on our side. We went to the campground host Jason about the load music from my neighbor. He was not happy I was there and didn't want to investigate. (even thought you could hear it from his site) His quote "I guess ill put my shoes on and go have a listen"
Let me say I understand the generator is what it is however I don't feel We should have to listen to someone else music in a campground I am paying for. The camp host was iterated he had to do anything. We transferred to the other end of the campground site #1 to get away from the music. it help but you could still hear it. The host must of talked to them finally because it finally was turned down after we moved and were set up.
Calling rec.gov was a pain but it worked.

Not sure I like these new electronic rangers, not everyone is comfortable using them. The campground was uncrowded and clean. No showers.

Was hoping to do some kayaking, but was not an appealing place to launch. Good for day hikes, except for 4 mile drive uphill back to the highway.
Locals like to tailgate all the way down from the highway.
