After the past 3.5 weeks at this campground and particular site, (I’ve rented the one next to it in the past), I must share that it’s absolutely lovely. Jason L, the campground host, is probably one of, if not THE best hosts there is. Jason provides an exceptionally clean and safe environment that is clearly cared for. The site itself is spacious, great view, and quiet. I had my 2 pups and they felt at home as well!!! Will say, my only issue was the RV that came up the last two nights. I wish NPS would provide campers that are actually camping outside, not in an RV or home on wheels, this particular section respite from generators and large structures within feet of campsite. There’s no hookups in those spaces and I few should be “tent only” sites so those of us outside aren’t having to suck in diesel fumes while listening to the sound of what is similar to an industrial park for a sunrise or sunset. Although it’s a “no gens” from 10-6am camp and that’s nice I do believe this camp would be so wonderful if they provided a camper a space they’d be surrounded by other campers. I would’ve stayed another week had they not ruined the sunrises that went from peaceful quiet to loud and stinky.
Again though, the site is lovely and beautiful! Jason, is truly putting his heart into the camp and is so friendly with guests and makes you know you’re safe. It’s an amazing view no matter where you camp and worth the very low camp price.
If you’re wanting to get away to somewhere you can just relax this is it.

Great campground with a friendly host. Love the fact that it’s not always packed and Verizon is strong.

No hookups for RV’s. No tree’s for shade. But nice bathrooms, plenty of space, quiet. Perfect spot for cooler weather.

Callville was one of the only campgrounds with available sites in the area. It was clean and the host was helpful. Hoover Dam is close enough for a day trip and worthwhile.

Though the campground is not always busy I don’t understand that trash around campgrounds isn’t picked up and bathrooms are filthy. We have been here since 10/19/24 and restrooms haven’t been cleaned once.
