Not really any shade. Lots of room for a couple tents and a vehicle. Safe for kids on bikes. But it’s very clean and everyone is pretty respectful of each other. Good quick getaway from Henderson!

It would have been a great campground if people in RV's didn't run their generators from 6am to 10 pm everyday. It is rude and it utterly ruins the camping experience for everyone else. Especially in the winter when people want to go to bed early - but the generators are all grinding and grumbling away - then they wake you up at the crack of dawn . Generator use should be restricted to a few hours in the middle of the afternoon. Plenty of other campgrounds do this. If a person needs more electricity than this they need to go to one of the many full service RV campgrounds in the area. Otherwise the CG is nice and I enjoyed a 4night stay. There are plentiful hiking opportunities nearby. Just walking all the way up Callville Wash is fun. I also suggest walking all the way down to the marina. I did this at night and it was really cool, no one else is around, you walk through these giant, lit up, but totally empty parking lots. Then at the last boat ramp's end you turn left onto a long floating walkway which takes you out the marina. And there is no one there. The CG host was nice and the bathrooms worked. I would go back because it such such a great location but they need to kill the generators!!!! It is so frustrating to a tent camper!!!

Laundry and showers were shutdown, but the restrooms were nice and kept clean. Dump station and water available. Some sites are larger than others, and some have water views. Wi-fi was excellent the whole time! Very quite and the night skies were amazing!

The campsite is nice and clean but sadly campspots are back to back and they allow generators like from 7am to 10pm with no generator free area. So not a pleasant experience.

Nice place, nice host. Enjoyed my stay except for the piece of heavy machinery that showed up at 5:30am! Be nice if the land store was open.. it's a hike to the marina. The water leak at the dump needs to be fixed.
