We love Callville Bay. It’s a smaller park yet close to services. Almost all sizes of vehicles can be accommodated. The Host and volunteers are great. The grounds are kept up very nicely. This was our first year staying at Callville. We will definitely be back.

It was unfortunately noisy due to constant airplane traffic. Also the maintenance guy was overly ambitious with the electric hedge trimmers and has butchered the oleander and removed any sense of privacy. Get a new maintenance person.

This campground was a favorite go to campground. However, light pollution is starting to overcome one of the most important aspect of the place and making it a desirable place to camp. The restroom building to overlit - too bright for what it needs to be and really destroying what most people go out and camp for. In addition to these overlit buildings, there are 2 RVs that has neon lights around their sites… contributing further to the destruction of the darkness in the campground.

I hope NPS will address this immediately. Thank you.

The campsite was quiet and clean. Camp host was very prompt to meet with me to make sure I understood the rules and facility limitations. Overall, a great experience, I will be coming back.

The campground was clean and well maintained. The camp host was friendly and offered to help if needed. We have been there before and will be back. The only thing was the signs to find the marina store were a little confusing. In one spot there were 2 signs that pointed in opposite directions. I decided to follow the sign that pointed to the road that went to the lake. Found it !!!

Reservation system is the pits, 48 sites available, ONLY 2 FIRST COME FIRST SERVE, and they are short sites, with no thought on the part of Lake Mead, just the first two sites. And out of 48 sites, there are only a handful of reservations, it is a joke! You have to find a site, log in to recreation.gov to make sure you can keep the site, as it can be reserved under you! If you can get site to work, it is so frustrating and makes us never want to go to Lake Mead Recreation Site, it is not good for campers!
