Even though it was very cold when we visited, my whole group loved this campsite. It was great having an actual toilet so close to the campsites, and the nearby hiking was great. The campground host was really helpful and easy to work with (we ended up asking to switch to a different campsite after arriving).
Very beautiful location, hoping to go back really soon

Campground host was great, friendly, and attentive. When we arrived, we found that someone had taken our assigned spot. They had their whole camp set up so we were reluctant to insist that they move. Host found us a different site that was just fine. If you camp here, I suggest you bring your bikes. Easy trail, mostly paved, goes all the way to the east shore. Make sure to pack warm clothes. We were there middle of September. It rained and snowed (beautiful but cold). The campground was in great shape, clean, bathrooms were cleaned every day. Great experience.
