We stayed in the Silvertip Campground. The camp host did not enforce the quiet time hours at night, or the 6 people to a campsite rule.

Great campground with very spacious sites. The host was very friendly and informative. The bathrooms we clean and the campground seems more peaceful and less raucous than other campgrounds that are on the lake. There is an easy trail that takes you down to Lake Alpine in about 25 minutes. My only "con" is I wish they had bear boxes on site since bears are very prevalent in the area. All food items and anything with a "smell" has to be stored in your vehicle at night away from your tent or sleep area. I would highly recommend this campground while staying in the area.

Our campground hosts were friendly and helpful. Their patroling was excellent and the campground quiet. Had 2 women with me, so always feel a bit more vulnerable without husbands along.

Don’t come without a reservation. First come first serve is virtually non-existent. The first come first serve is never more than a day or two plan on moving around or even going back home without a reservation.

If you're tent camping, be prepared to store food properly to prevent bear activity. They do not have bear boxes in the campground and should.

Even though it was very cold when we visited, my whole group loved this campsite. It was great having an actual toilet so close to the campsites, and the nearby hiking was great. The campground host was really helpful and easy to work with (we ended up asking to switch to a different campsite after arriving).
Very beautiful location, hoping to go back really soon
