We loved the 'backyard ' into the woods. Also, we left a hammer behind which the park staff quickly mailed back to us! (above and beyond what I expected). Good night sky star viewing. Clean. Friendly. An activity our kids loved (well honestly, the adults too) was Garnett Hill sifting for garnets for free.

Clean, well kept, easy access. A favorite place to stopover when heading north.

The camp ground and bathrooms were clean and nice. The tables at the group site were very dirty. The camp host was nice most of the time but when he had a complaint he was kind of nasty. Just saying things a little different would have made those encounters more pleasant.

Our site was close to level. Cellular AT&T coverage was pretty good. The park was very quiet at night.

One of the best CGs we've stayed in. Very clean and maintained. Water was down, but we carry our own.

Received an email the day of our arrival stating Ward Mountain Campground had no water. Of course we did not get email as we were traveling. As if that was not bad enough, they also do not provide trash dumpsters. Might as well do dispersed camping and save yourself the money.

The campground clean and peaceful. I didn’t use the restrooms but the campground in general was excellent. The trails going from and around the area were awesome!

This is a nice park, with the cleanest pit toilets ever! The sites are not that big - so if you have a bigger set up (our trailer is 17 feet) it'll be tight. Loop A seems to have less space between sites, but loop B was great. If you are tent camper the sites will have plenty of space for everything. Lots of mountain biking/horse trails right from the campground.

This campground was perfect for our one night stay. Price is very reasonable and the facilities were great!
