What Guests Are Saying
Zephyr Cove RV & Campground offers a clean and well-maintained experience with excellent access to Lake Tahoe and numerous activities. Many guests appreciate the spacious and beautiful campsites, friendly staff, and clean facilities, including bathrooms and showers. The RV spot I had was supposed to have FULL HOOKUPS #173. It had NO WATER, The spot next to me had water but the hydrant leaked so bad it could not be turn on and left on. The sand had washed off the hillside and also had my spot half covered. I had to take a shovel and dress it up... ARAMARK, who runs the Forest Service Campground was no help. On the water issue they told me to get my tank filled and run off MY PUMP. Checked out early and was DENIED a REFUND. This is typical of a facility that is run by ARAMARK, Had a bad stay at a overpriced campground at LAKE POWELL that they run also

Great location and a nice campground. Good tree coverage, asphalt roads/campsites and good hookups. Campsite generally level enough, but we were in a Class A MH and had to use one set of leveling pads and exit from our campsite was narrow with difficult angle due to tree location but we care we got in and out safely. Summary: I would recommend and I would for sure go back.

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

- Store food and trash in bear boxes and never leave food unattended or in your tent to ensure safety from wildlife.

Site types & loops
- Loops 1 and 3 have RV sites for one RV and one passenger vehicle; overflow parking is available but tent camping is not allowed.
- Loop 2 has drive-in tent sites with parking for one vehicle; overflow parking is available, but RV camping is not allowed.
- Loop 4 has walk-in tent sites for up to two tents or six people; they are not vehicle-accessible, and equipment must be carried in and out.
