The campground hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The grounds and the restrooms are well kept and the campground was quiet. Our young grandchildren loved the playground. Our only problem was the weather. We had high gusty winds and our son's family was in a pop-up camper, so sleep was difficult for them (we had no issues in our camper van). We took a day trip to Bandalier and that was wonderful. Would recommend you start early in the day before it gets hot.

We enjoyed our experience, even though it was just an overnight stay. Hopefully, next time we can stay longer. The host was very nice and informative.

Park was nice and the view was beautiful. The only complaint is that there was many puncture weeds/ stickers that my dog kept stepping on and the bottom of my sandals were loaded with them.

Awesome place to stay. Very quiet, lake views from every site. Best of all are: Al and Cyndy the park attendants. They are polite, welcoming and helpful. I wish there was a site we could stay in the whole season.

Our first ever trip to Abiquiu Lake and a pleasant surprise, especially since it's only a short drive from where we live. We found a beautifully kept campsite with lots of trails to hike and the beautiful view of the lake.
The public facilities were the cleanest we've ever seen and the hosts were very knowledgeable and friendly.
We also used the opportunity to visit Ghost Ranch, only a few miles farther north and another place we had never been.
We're looking forward to our next visit.
