Renegade 38 ft stayed one night in a pull thru. 50A Nice views or the Valley of Fire area, close to the hiking trail. Late afternoon on a Sunday, congested with RVers looking for a quick overnight stop. Get reservations. Camp host was congenial & took care of us. Cell service AT&T was 20mbs. We camped at Valley of Fires Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

Great location for tent camping or RVs. Consistently good over the years. Be sure to visit the wonderful Rosey's Pizzeria, the painted donkey collection, Malkerson's Gallery 408, and Photozozo photography gallery (plus many others downtown) in Carrizozo. Just a great place for a long weekend. BTW, the bathrooms at Valley of Fires RV park are always clean but are now looking a bit 'outdated' which is not the fault of the excellent campground hosts.

This is one of our favorite places to stay. Great location and very well maintained. Feels remote but the village of Carrizozo is just 20 minutes away. Views are spectacular and plenty to do in the area.

We come here often as we live nearby. It's always clean and the lava field is a really nice hike. The views are amazing. Staff is super friendly and helpful!
