Off season so store and visitor's center were closed. Nice bath houses and restrooms.

Very nice campground, beautiful area. Enjoyed several hikes on the Boardwalk and off trail. Good birding early in morning. Four Winds Restaurant in Corrizozo was very good and reasonably priced.

Recommended. I was in the best part of the park IMO. I was at Site 18. Plenty of space between sites up on a hill. I would not stay in the lower sites. Too close together. Sites 17, 18, and 19 are the best. Bathroom and showers were clean, but could use some maintenance. I would definitely stay again.

Sites were well spaced with beautiful views. The campground is set on an island in the lava field. Its up on a hill giving beautiful views from all the RV sites. The tent sites are nestled down in the trees. We were on site 14 which only had water (no electricity) and was hard for us to pull into. I have a 30 foot trailer. It was also hard to level on this site. I would recommend any length less than 25 foot. The hostess was very friendly and answered all our questions about the area. Bathrooms and showers were kept very clean. Don’t skip the little 1 mile loop hike through the lava field. It’s paved so it’s an easy hike. It’s was interesting to see and read about all the plants and different movements of the lava. This was a great stay and if we are back in the area we will camp here again.

I paid for 2 nights but only got to stay 1. The software started my 2 nights on a night that was already past. Software improvement is in order.

Stayed in spot #20 for 3 nights. Easy pull in and 50 amp service which was a pleasant surprise. Lots of places to hike. You can drive an hour to Alamogordo if you need supplies. Beautiful bathrooms with great showers. We will be back.
