This is a very nice site, right adjacent to a pleasant meadow. It's a little bit narrow for a 34' RV with slide-outs on both sides and no room for an awning, but there's so much shade that the lack of awning was not an issue. Our fire pit could have used a cleanout before we arrived. It was stuffed full up to the grate with burned debris. Proximity to the rest rooms is great and they seemed well maintained. We noticed no odor from the rest room at the site. Water access is also handy - right across the road from the site. We would reserve here again.

This was my fifth time camping at Jemez Springs so obviously it's a favorite. After camping in Loop 1 and Loop 2, I eventually figured out that Loop 4 was designated the quiet loop with no generators, so this year I eagerly reserved a site there. Unfortunately, several sites in Loop 4 were reserved by a group doing a cross-country moped race so they were toning and revving engines during their whole stay, including after dark. What a bummer! So little respect for quiet and no enforcement of a quiet loop.

The camp was clean and spacious. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The camp hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of shade from the sun underneath huge ponderosas. Not from lots of activities including fishing, rock climbing, elk viewing, hiking trails, hot springs and the list continues. The camps themselves were great for the rv with level pads. They have an area which is a quite zone where generators are prohibited which is also great. I highly recommend this camp.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
