It is a beautiful location and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There’s a beach area on site as well as a golf course within 5 miles.

Sites are well camouflaged with shrubs in between for privacy and a nice shelter, yet because of the low cost, I had the unfortunate experience of watching a couple camping out of their car, using a short household electric cord to illuminate the inside. Unfortunately, because of the short cord, they brushed their teeth and washed up right next to the plug, away from the lovely shelter and the wonderful shrubs. The experience made for the most uncomfortable stay at a COE campground. I had to turn on all my outside lights to give the hint that they were annoying with the mechanic's light they were using. Everyone should be able to use the campground, but some respect for your neighbors is always good.
Great view of the lake, lots of places for a nice walk.

Quiet, pleasant camping, would be great when (if) they get some maintenance money to spend

We reserved a site near the bathroom but when we got there the bathroom was closed and there was no notice on the reservation site!! We were told that bathroom had been closed for 2 years! There were several bathrooms within driving range that were filthy and had prison metal toilets with no seats!!! Netflix was filming & beach areas were closed to the public with no notice. The host said he didn’t even know..they just showed up.
